Real Proud Recognizes Three Cabot Students

Three Cabot students were recognized by Bank of Little Rock Mortgage on Friday,
October 5th, during the Cabot high school football game. The students were honored as a part of the Real Proud of Real Panthers program, sponsored by Bank of Little Rock Mortgage.

The program recognizes students for their achievements in and out of the classroom. The students honored were Pamela Powell, Hayley Rollins and Carli Slayton.

Pamela Powell has a 4.03 GPA and has received the Certificate for Academic Excellence. She is co-captain of the dance team and is a member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society, AP Academy, Jr. Civitan, Sidekicks and Theater Dance Pamela has served over 120 hours with Lunch Box Connection and Special Olympics. After graduation, she plans to join the Air Force with hopes of being an Air Traffic Controller.
Pamela is the daughter of proud parents Judi and Dough Hauth and Charles and Brenda

Hayley Rollins serves as Vice President of the Sports Medicine Club and is a member of
the archery team and band. She accumulated over 30 hours of community service last school year. After graduation she plans to attend college and major in pre-medicine. Hayley is the daughter of proud parents Robert and Mona Rollins.

Carli Slayton has a 4.04 GPA and has been selected to the All Region Band for four years, and for the past two years, has made All State Band. Carli is a member of National Honor Society and Medical Honors. She volunteers at the local animal shelter and the Cabot Church of Christ youth group. After graduation, she plans to attend Harding University. Carli is the daughter of proud parents Ken and Stephanie Slayton.

Mike Verkler with the Cabot Panther Foundation accepted a $450 contribution, which is part of the $2,700 Bank of Little Rock Mortgage will donate to the foundation during this school year.
